Well this is a tutorial from this interior done with 3ds max and V-Ray, it is a night interior with several lights and temperature.

Let’s get started first with the lighting, I went for different colors and temperature to give a nice mood inside of the room.
The lighting organization:
Center Lamps: I used a V-Ray sphere light in each lamp, all the lights with the same settings…
The Wall Lamp: this lamp has a sphere vray light with these settings:
Side Lamps: This lamp has a vray mesh light with the following settings:
I used another vray mesh light in the top cabinet for the blue light coming down to the tv, check the settings:
In the top of the cabinet I used a Vray Plane light to give more brightness to the room, check out the settings:
And to finish the the lights settings, this is the lighting settings for the lamps at the dinning room:
